Paul H. Tutmarc, Jnr., better known as 'Bud', was born on 7th November, 1924, in West Walnut, Chehalis, Washington, about 90 miles south of Seattle. His parents Lorraine and Paul H. Tutmarc, Snr., had named their son after his father but the family soon got used to calling him 'Junior'. One day one of his aunts called and was horrified to hear this little six month old baby being called 'Junior' and started to call him 'Buddy' instead. The name stuck, and was soon shortened to the now familiar 'Bud'.Bud Tutmarc has released about 25 albums through the years, his first recordings appearing on the American market in the late 1940s. He served many years as the Music Director of Calvary Temple in Seattle, Washington State; also District Music Director for the Northwest of the USA and a member of the National Music Committee of the Assemblies of God. He has travelled around the world visiting countries such as Britain, Sweden, Australia with his steel guitar. Bud’s life has brought wonderful music into the lives of many - this CD is just a sample of that wonderful sound.
