Adam Faith – The Jasmine EP Collection

• This compilation of killer ADAM FAITH sides is drawn from EPs issued in the UK and France between 1959 and 1962.
• It features most of his early Stringbeat hits, notably ‘What Do You Want’, ‘Poor Me’, ‘Someone Else’s Baby’, ‘When Johnny Comes Marching Home’, ‘How About That’, ‘Made You’, etc.
• Also included are several album tracks and dedicated EP-only cuts.
• During the time-frame covered by these recordings, Adam was second only to Cliff in the UK Pop Idol stakes.
• After the hits dried up in the mid-60s he turned to acting, earning plaudits for the ITV series Budgie, while in the early 70s he re-connected with Pop music, in management and production (he famously discovered Leo Sayer).
• In the 80s he reinvented himself as a “financial advisor”, a career move which ended badly, while in the 90s he returned to stage and TV acting.
