Jerry Fuller – Tennessee Waltz

• JERRY FULLER’s successes as a songwriter, producer and A&R guru between the 1960s and 1990s were so spectacular, they virtually expunged his early incarnation as a singer from his timeline.
• Yet in the late 50s and early 60s, whilst perfecting those songwriting skills, he cut a series of records that have more than stood the test of time, a couple of which dented the US charts.
• This compilation presents the Very Best of Fuller’s own recording career, between 1958 and 1962, including his biggest hit, a rockin’ revival of ‘Tennessee Waltz’, a huge seller in 1959.
• He also recorded with other artists, e.g. Diane Maxwell, a rare-as-unicorns-manure Fuller Bros single (recorded with his brother, Bill), and the Trophies’ 45s (with bandmates Dave Burgess, Glen Campbell and
Ricky Nelson).
• Several of these sides are impossible to find elsewhere on CD, while a number are making their digital debut.
