Ernest TUBB – There’s A Little Bit Of Everything In Texas

Ernest Tubb much regarded as the elder statesman of Country music, much respected as a singer and song-writer, and with a reputation for helping others in the business. Despite a somewhat gaunt appearance, his eyes always twinkled and his relaxed warmth as a compere was something few of his peers could match. The list of his hits is formidable, including many included on this compilation like "Don’t Look Now", "It’s Been So Long, Darling" and "Driftwood On The River". Amongst other claims to fame is the fact that Ernest was the first Country artist to perform at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall.
