Unlike the first JASMINE CD "Dreams Of Hawaii" on JASMCD 2557, this compilation focuses on the non-Hawaiian repertoire of the Serenaders, and reveals a ‘hot’ band more than capable of getting the clientele in a cosy night-club onto the dance floor. The titles may all be familiar but these dazzling performances probably are not. All credit to the musicians who feature on these recordings, and thanks to Felix Mendelssohn for making it all happen
