Pete RUGOLO – Rugolovations

Listen to the distinctive sound of one of the music worlds lesser know masters, with a truly great ensemble which includes Pete Candoli, Shorty Rogers and Maynard Ferguson to name but a few. This issue will be interest to all Stan Kenton fans.

Rugolo created a sound unlike most big bands of the time by making full use of a wide range of musicians and instruments. The results were big and brassy, dynamically diverse and entertaining.

This set includes a booklet with a full discography and liner notes by Tony Middleton, with re-mastering by Tall Order.
